“Mark has a unique style which blends time honoured narrative technique with modern communication theory. His experience in the communications world ensures participants on his courses leave equipped with tools forged over two thousand years but sharpened to a 21st century edge.” Dr Nick Napper.
“Mark is an occasional columnist for our weekly paper and we also commission articles from him for the monthly Somerset Life magazine. He is an accomplished writer, always meeting deadlines and providing high quality, thought provoking and funny material!” Phil Hill, Chief Reporter.

“It was great to work with you. You were always professional, gave us clarity through the woods and you are real “go to” person for comms!” Robert Menlove, Programme Manager.
“Mark Wall Communications have helped us with Media and Communications Training, tailored marketing projects, including media planning and social media management in the last year. They have listened and understood our brief for each of these projects and delivered accurately and on time, every time. The training has been interesting, well received, remembered and used by our staff – thank you” Charlotte Morris, Head of Communications.
“Mark is a good communicator. He has a real ability to find and research relevant and interesting stories and then write them up in a media friendly way. He is flexible and very committed to what he does. I would happily work with him again and recommend him to others with a communications or media need.” Paul Taylor, Hospital Director.
“Mark is flexible and focused when meeting client needs. In my experience he was always willing to roll up his sleeves and get stuck in, even in some quite challenging situations. He always delivered and was popular with colleagues across the organisation” Ian Adams, Former NHS Communications Director.
“Mark did an excellent job reviewing and then redrafting Taunton Association for the Homeless’ hard-copy information packs and our website. He worked effectively and to deadline, came up with some excellent ideas and really understood what we wanted as a client.” John Shipley, Chief Executive.
“Mark is an excellent communicator; creative, flexible and very easy to work with. He is well known in the NHS and across the south west media and gets things done. His ability to calmly and effectively manage in a crisis is extremely valuable.” Andrew Brown, Director.
“Mark provided some additional capacity for our communications team while we were recruiting for a new Head of Communications. He was supportive, flexible, expert and always available 24/7. He even took calls from our duty manager while on holiday in Rome! I would happily recommend him.” Paul Mears Chief Executive.
“Mark’s enthusiasm, passion and expertise have been invaluable in the delivery of this complex, high profile project” Dr Andrew Howe, Director of Public Health.
“Changing the culture of an HR service from transactional to transformational requires many things. I believe one essential element is investment in individuals who are key influencers within the team, giving them the courage and skills to change the “normal” way of doing things. Nick and Mark not only brought energy and enthusiasm to each workshop but delivered a programme of development that gave confidence to all attendees to be confident in influencing and negotiating on an individual and group level. Many left the workshops saying it was the first time they had been in such positive and engaging workshops from start to finish.”
“The feedback has been really positive. Managers have said their teams have come back “buzzing” from the courses and the team generally feel more confident about situations they may have to influence. So a big thank you.”
“the training exceeded my expectations! I enjoyed the fact that it was very interactive, relaxed and didn’t feel like it was pressured or a ‘pass or fail’ environment.”
